Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Downtown Cleveland apartment property. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, perform routine inspections, and manage a preventative maintenance schedule.

You will respond to resident requests, maintain records, prepare vacant units, and coordinate with contractors to meet a 3–5 day turnaround. On-call shifts and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Prior property maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
• Able to supply own tools.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts.
• Commitment to teamwork and professional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Repair plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliances.
• Inspect the property regularly and ensure safety compliance.
• Address resident maintenance requests professionally.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents within 3–5 days and coordinate contractors.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas.
• Schedule contracts and review invoices.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
• Assist pest control when applicable.
