Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Kent, OH property to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. You will respond to work orders, assist with preventive maintenance, and help keep common areas clean and safe while delivering strong resident service.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of maintenance experience, HVAC/plumbing/electrical troubleshooting abilities, and a focus on safety and quality workmanship. On-call rotation and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule and varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to protect and enhance property value.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory of tools and supplies.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and keep accurate records.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and coworkers.
• Ensure safety procedures and hazard communications are followed.
