Job summary

bp seeks a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OMS sub element 4.4 Incident Management and OMS 2.4 Organizational Learning within US Fleet & Mobility. The role focuses on embedding OMS requirements, developing minimum expectations, and supporting regulatory, BP, and corporate governance across the US operations.

The SME will drive performance improvement, establish global standards, and ensure effective learning processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in health, safety, environmental or sustainability roles with substantial accountability.
• Understanding of Human Factors in operations, incidents and learning.
• Fluent in English with strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of the OMS Performance Improvement Cycle (PIC) and action plans to achieve OMS conformance.
• Set global performance standards and indicators for OMS SEs within US Fleet & Mobility.
• Support incident investigation and development of OMS training and materials.
