Job summary

TRC, Member of WSP, is seeking an experienced OMS Applications Lead to drive the OMS workstream on ADMS implementations, including SOM, Field Mobility, and related integrations. You will lead engineers, coordinate workshops with customers and vendors, and ensure alignment with project plans and contractual requirements.

The role requires deep OMS domain knowledge, strong OT/IT systems background, and travel up to ~25% to client sites. A BS in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years direct OMS experience.
• Experience with at least one major ADMS/OMS vendor (GE, Aspen Tech/OSI, ABB, Schneider Electric, or Oracle NMS).
• Proven experience supporting critical OT/IT systems.
• Knowledge of end-to-end OMS processes (outage management, dispatching, switching, field mobility, integrations).
• Understanding of ADMS-OMS integration and how it ties to modules.
• Familiarity with Distribution Control Center operations and working with operators/dispatchers.
• Willingness to travel, averaging ~25%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the OMS workstream on ADMS implementation projects.
• Lead a team of engineers on OMS configurations (SOM, Crew Management, ETRs, Field Mobility).
• Conduct OMS-related workshops with customers, vendors, and third parties.
• Develop requirements, project plans, and track OMS technical dependencies.
• Collaborate with customers to understand operational needs and support OMS phases.
• Provide design documentation for OMS, SOM, and Field Mobility solutions.
