The salary range for this role is: $73,083.69 - $124,154.22

Responsibilities:

The Omnichannel Activation Specialist partners with their manager to develop and implement omnichannel strategies supporting brand and retail initiatives to drive sales and market share growth. This role requires understanding business needs, strategies, and account opportunities. Travel is approximately 10%.

This is a remote/home-based position, open to candidates in AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. Hybrid options are available in Pittsburgh, PA, or Rogers, AR.

  • Develops and executes omnichannel programs, including retail tactics (signage, demos, direct mailers) and digital programs (social media, digital coupons, banners, retail search).
  • Works with the Omnichannel Activation Manager to create customer-specific strategies aligning with brand and retailer objectives.
  • Leverages external brand partnerships to enhance program impact.
  • Briefs creative teams on activations, ensuring messaging aligns with objectives, brand guidelines, and retailer specs.
  • Establishes KPIs, uses analytics to optimize campaigns, and measures success to grow sales and share.
  • Secures approval for cost estimates and socializes activation plans.
  • Supports customer meetings with strategies, plans, and results.
  • Monitors monthly budgets and processes invoices.
  • Contributes to annual planning and marketing communications to foster growth.
  • Builds internal and external partnerships to achieve goals, including with Sales, Finance, and other teams.
  • Supports internal education on program performance and opportunities.
  • Understands retailer strategies, category dynamics, and consumer behavior to meet volume and profit targets.
  • Assists with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
  • At least 3 years in CPG, eCommerce, activation, brand management, or related fields; agency experience is a plus.
  • Experience in marketing, media, or brand management.
  • Results-oriented, self-starter with influence and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail activation/shopper media, including dollar channels, C-stores, drug stores, and e-commerce, is preferred.
