The salary range for this role is: $73,083.69 - $124,154.22

Responsibilities:

The Omnichannel Activation Specialist partners with their manager to develop and implement omnichannel strategies supporting brand and retail initiatives to drive sales and market share growth. This role requires understanding the business needs and strategic opportunities, with travel approximately 10%.

This is a remote position, open to residents in AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. Hybrid options are available in Pittsburgh, PA, or Rogers, AR.

  1. Develops and executes omnichannel programs, including retail tactics like signage, demos, direct mail, as well as digital programs such as social media, digital coupons, banners, and retail search.
  2. Works with the Omnichannel Activation Manager to create customer-specific strategies aligning with brand and retailer objectives.
  3. Leverages external brand partnerships to enhance program impact.
  4. Briefs creative and execution teams, ensuring messaging aligns with program goals, brand guidelines, and retailer specifications.
  5. Establishes KPIs, uses analytics and data to optimize campaigns, and measures success in terms of sales and share growth.
  6. Ensures budget approval and socialization of activation plans.
  7. Supports customer meetings with strategies, plans, and results presentations.
  8. Manages monthly budget tracking and invoice processing.
  9. Contributes to customer planning and marketing communication processes to develop growth strategies.
  10. Builds internal and external partnerships to achieve goals, including collaboration with Sales, Business Managers, and Finance.
  11. Supports internal education on program performance and opportunities.
  12. Identifies new capabilities and partners to improve activation performance.
  13. Develops understanding of retailer strategies, category dynamics, and consumer behavior.
  14. Assists in delivering volume and profit targets.
  15. Performs administrative tasks as needed.
  16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required; MBA preferred
  • At least 3 years in the CPG industry or related fields such as eCommerce, activation, brand management, promotions, or agency experience
  • Experience in marketing, media, or brand management
  • Self-starter with results orientation and cross-functional influence
  • Strong leadership, project management, business acumen, and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Retail Activation / Shopper Media, including dollar channels, C-stores, drug stores, and e-commerce, is a plus
