The salary range for this role is: $73,083.69 - $124,154.22

Responsibilities:

The Omnichannel Activation Specialist partners with their manager to develop and implement omnichannel strategies that support key brand and retail initiatives, aiming to drive sales and market share growth. This role requires understanding business needs, organizational strategies, and identifying optimal program opportunities for assigned accounts. Travel is required, approximately 10%.

This position is remote/home-based and can be located in AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. Office accommodations are available for hybrid work at our Pittsburgh, PA, or Rogers, AR offices.

  • Develops and executes omnichannel programming, including retail and in-store tactics (signage, demos, direct mailers) and digital programs (social media, digital coupons, banners, search).
  • Partners with the Omnichannel Activation Manager to craft customer-specific strategies aligning brand and retailer category objectives.
  • Leverages external brand partnerships to enhance program impact as needed.
  • Briefs creative and execution teams, providing clear guidance on success criteria, messaging, and compliance with brand and retailer standards.
  • Works with the manager to set KPIs, analyze campaign data, and optimize media to boost sales and share growth.
  • Ensures cost estimates are approved and plans are socialized internally.
  • Supports customer meetings with strategies, plans, and results presentations.
  • Assists with budget tracking and invoice processing to ensure timely payments.
  • Contributes to annual customer planning and integrated marketing processes to develop growth strategies.
  • Builds trusted internal and external partnerships to achieve shared goals, including teams from Sales, Business Management, Insights, and Finance.
  • Supports internal education on program performance and opportunities.
  • Understands activation drivers, explores new capabilities, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Gains a deep understanding of retailer strategies, category dynamics, and consumer behavior.
  • Aids in delivering volume and profit targets.
  • Performs administrative tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree required; MBA preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in CPG, eCommerce, or related fields; activation, brand management, or agency experience is a plus.
  • Experience in marketing, media, or brand management.
  • Self-starter with results orientation and influencing skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Excellent business acumen, analytical, and decision-making skills; innovative mindset.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in retail activation and shopper media (Dollar channel, C-Store, drug, e-commerce) preferred.
