Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking store teammates to create an exceptional shopping experience by greeting customers, assisting with product needs, and maintaining brand standards. You will execute omni-channel processes such as Ship From Store, Buy Online Pickup in Store, and curbside pickup while supporting inventory accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers and proactively understand needs to support shopping experience.
• Ensure merchandise is processed according to programs and procedures.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards.
• Fulfill omni-channel customer experience processes (Ship From Store, BOPIS, Curbside).
• Participate in Loss Prevention procedures and inventory audits.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOPs, maintaining confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
