Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Boston is seeking store teammates to greet athletes and customers, understand their needs, and help deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

You will process merchandise, uphold merchandising standards, and execute omni-channel services like Ship From Store, Buy Online Pickup in Store, and curbside pickup. You will also assist with loss prevention and daily operational tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively (up to 25 times per hour)
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours) and at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or lift
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours)

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers, proactively understand their needs and support their shopping experience
• Ensure merchandise and product received is processed per programs and procedures
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards
• Fulfill customer experience and omni fulfillment processes (Ship From Store, BOPIS, and curbside)
• Participate in Loss Prevention procedures and complete daily audits
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected
• Support the team across the store and take on additional tasks as assigned by management
