Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in Washington. The role offers a comprehensive compensation package and flexibility in schedule.

Responsibilities include providing psychiatric services in SNFs, assessing patients, diagnosing DSM-V disorders, and collaborating with psychiatrists. Washington licensure and DEA registration required; 1 year geriatric psychiatry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a psychiatry focus.
• 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess mental status and diagnose DSM-V disorders; develop treatment plans.
• Apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatment options.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Location: Travel between Tri-Cities and Yakima, WA

Behavioral Health Solutions is looking for qualified Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Psychiatry team in Washington. Our team of mental health treatment professionals specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to the underserved geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
