Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Scientist – Oligonucleotide/Peptide in Cambridge, MA to drive purification development for a growing pipeline of oligonucleotide and peptide therapies. You will lead process development, scale-up, and tech transfer, collaborating across synthesis, drug product, and analytics teams to deliver robust purification strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry with 2–4 years industry experience (or master’s with 0–2 years) is required.
• Senior Associate Scientist: Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related life science field with 4 years industry experience (or master’s with 2 years) is required.
• Proven record of planning and executing projects and experiments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Lab purification experience with proteins/peptides/DNA/RNA using chromatography and UF/DF.
• Experience with AKTA/U Unicorn is a plus and DoE is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and characterize purification processes for new oligonucleotides and peptide drug therapies.
• Learn chromatography, UF/DF, and related purification steps; explore non-platform methods.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve process understanding and manage team activities.
• Document lab work in development reports and lead pilot scale activities.
• Scale-up and technology transfer to pilot and GMP facilities; contribute to IND regulatory sections.
