Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Scientist – Oligonucleotide/Peptide purification in Cambridge, MA to develop robust purification processes for a growing pipeline of oligonucleotide and peptide therapeutics. The role includes scale-up, tech transfer, and cross-functional collaboration across synthesis, analytics, and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has hands-on purification experience (AKTA/U Unicorn), strong communication, and a track record of delivering development reports and pilot-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related life science field with 2-4 years industry experience (or master’s degree with 0-2 years of industry experience).
• Senior Associate Scientist: Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related life science field with 4 years industry experience (or master’s degree with 2 years of industry experience).

Responsibilities

• Develop and characterize purification processes for a rapidly expanding pipeline of oligonucleotides and peptide drug therapies.
• Utilize chromatography and UF/DF; learn purification steps for oligonucleotide and peptide platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve process understanding and manage team activities.
• Document development work and lead pilot scale activities; contribute to IND regulatory sections.
