Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new U.S. oligonucleotide CDMO opportunities
• Qualify prospects by development stage, funding, technical requirements, timelines, and commercial potential
• Build relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical customers, develop account plans, and progress opportunities toward pipeline, contract awards, and revenue
• Represent Hongene at conferences and customer meetings; track follow-up actions and convert engagement into qualified opportunities
• Coordinate with Sales, CMC, R&D, PM, QA, and manufacturing teams to prepare proposals, scopes of work, and quotations
• Engage early-stage biotech customers on development plans and CMC milestones; involve regulatory colleagues to define services and timelines
• Support or lead commercial negotiations with internal approvals and pricing terms
• Coordinate customer discussions, site visits, audits, and handoffs to execution teams
• Maintain CRM records with opportunity stage, value, timing, next steps, and risks
• Track funding rounds, licensing deals, M&A, milestones, product approvals, and patent developments in the oligonucleotide market
• Collaborate with Marketing on materials, competitor positioning, and events
