BioFire Diagnostics in Utah is seeking a Lab Technologist for a 12-hour rotating C shift (Sun-Tues and every other Wed, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM). You will operate HPLC, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis spectrometry, while following quality systems and SOPs.

A high school diploma and 1+ year of lab experience are required; a BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology is preferred. The role involves record-keeping, safety with hazardous chemicals, and collaboration with team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1+ year of laboratory experience
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in compliance with company policy and BioMerieux's Diagnostics’ Quality System.
• Maintain records in compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs.
• Follow pre-established guidelines and use written batch records.
• Manufacture oligonucleotides according to electronic batch records and WID’s.
• Proficiently operate and maintain lab instrumentation (HPLC, UV/Vis, DNA synthesizers, etc.).
• Handle hazardous chemicals per approved procedures and perform duties as assigned.
