Job summary

BioFire Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Technologist to perform a range of lab tasks, operate HPLC, LC/MS, DNA synthesizers, and liquid handling robots. You’ll follow GMP and SOPs, maintain records, and manufacture oligonucleotides per batch records. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

The role requires 1+ year of lab experience, a high school diploma, and preferred BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology. Shift is C with nights; on-site Utah facility; bonus eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of laboratory experience required.
• Preferred BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot HPLCs, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, and UV/Vis instruments.
• Maintain records per GMP and SOPs; ensure compliance with Quality System.
• Manufacture oligonucleotides according to batch records and work instructions.
• Perform routine and repetitive lab tasks with accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate results and deviations clearly; support continuous improvement.
