Job summary

bioMerieux is seeking a Lab Technologist to perform a broad range of laboratory tasks and production processes in Utah, including operating HPLCs, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis spectrometry. You will work on routine assignments with guidance and ensure adherence to the Diagnostics Quality System.

This role requires attention to GMP, SOPs, and safety procedures while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of laboratory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot HPLCs, DNA Synthesizers, LC/MS, and liquid handling robots.
• Maintain records in compliance with GMP and SOP.
• Follow written guidelines; ensure quality and accuracy of work.
• Handle hazardous chemicals according to procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
