Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking an On The Job Training Strategy, Governance and Enablement Advisor to lead the development, governance, sustainment, and expansion of structured on-the-job training across SCE’s technical workforce.

You will partner with operational leaders, training organizations, instructional designers, subject-matter experts, mentors, and technology teams to translate workforce requirements into scalable OJT strategies and performance-based learning solutions.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience leading and implementing learning initiatives.
• Experience designing, implementing, governing, or sustaining structured OJT programs.
• Experience partnering with field leaders, instructors, and subject-matter experts to improve workforce performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the optimization of ongoing technical training programs for the enterprise.
• Provides leadership and technical direction to team members to ensure project activities and timelines are met and training materials are delivered in a timely manner.
• Delivers complex instruction and training across multiple levels of leadership.
• Improves technical training strategies and curricula priorities to produce successful outcomes.
• Applies SME expertise to review and create a technical training curriculum balancing needs of functions.
• Maintains knowledge of strategies and integrates into training techniques and tools.
• Collaborates with senior stakeholders to align training with unit challenges and priorities.
• Leads development of training events tailored to group needs and unit strategy.
• Assesses program effectiveness and presents results to leaders with formal documentation.
• Protects assets and handles sensitive information with high integrity.
