Candidates should have a JD and at least three years of experience drafting title opinions in Texas, with strong ethics and client confidentiality. Hybrid work options are available for nearby offices.

Qualifications

• JD and active license with minimum three years drafting title opinions in Texas.
• Experience preparing large unit-wide division order ownerships with tract factors.
• Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oil & Gas Title Expertise: conduct title examinations and draft opinions.
• Draft and negotiate leases, joint operating agreements, and related contracts.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local laws; collaborate with litigation if needed.
• Work with senior attorneys to ensure timely, accurate solutions.
• Maintain quarterly billable target of 450 hours and pursue learning opportunities.
