Job summary

Buckeye Partners L.P. in New Jersey seeks a Technician experienced in pipeline, terminal or plant operations to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment at pump stations, remote booster stations and delivery terminals.

Qualifications

Two-year associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance.
Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
Experience in measurement of liquids or gas preferred.
Must reside within 45 minutes driving time of the work location.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities at pump stations, remote booster stations, pipelines and terminals.
Plan, estimate, schedule and control maintenance projects.
Perform regulatory and company policy preventive maintenance inspections.
Procure and manage outside contractors as required.
Implement company policies and drawings for new or upgraded facilities.
Train Operations personnel on new or modified equipment or software.
Maintain equipment records and documentation per policy.
Other duties as assigned.
