Job summary

Buckeye Partners L.P. is seeking a Technician I to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across pump stations, pipeline ROWs and delivery terminals.

The role requires a technical associate degree or equivalent, experience in operations & maintenance, and PLC knowledge (B&R, Siemens, Allen-Bradley). You must live within 45 minutes of the work location and possess a valid driver's license. This is a full-time, on-site position with safety and regulatory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent required.
• Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance required.
• Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) preferred.
• Experience in measurements of liquids or gas preferred.
• Must reside within 45 minutes driving time of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment and facilities.
• Plan, estimate, schedule and control costs for projects and maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory and company policy maintenance inspections are documented.
• Train operations personnel on new equipment and software.
• Procure and coordinate outside contractors when needed.
