Job summary

Buckeye Partners Lp is seeking a Technician II to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment at pump stations, tank farms, and terminal facilities. You will handle routine operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvements.

The role requires a technical associate degree or equivalent experience, PLC experience with various brands, and the ability to work with outside contractors and documentation systems. A valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field required.
• Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance required.
• Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and truck/rail load rack presets (Accuload, Multiload) preferred.
• Experience in Measurement of Liquids or Gas preferred.
• Must reside within 45 minutes driving time of the work location.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance projects: troubleshoot and maintain pipeline and terminal facilities, including planning and scheduling.
• Compliance: perform regulatory and company policy preventive maintenance inspections in manuals and in JDE.
• Continuous education: stay updated on new technology and equipment.
• Management: procure and manage outside contractors as required.
• Policy implementation: apply company policies and construction specifications.
• Product training: train personnel on new/modifed equipment or software.
• Documentation: maintain equipment records and documentation per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
