Job summary

Buckeye Partners is seeking a Technician for its Port Reading Terminal in Port Reading, NJ. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across pump stations, terminals and related facilities within the oil & gas midstream network.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance.
• Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and load rack presets (Accuload, Multiload) preferred.
• Experience in measurement of liquids or gas preferred.
• Must reside within 45 minutes driving time of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance projects including troubleshooting and maintenance for pipeline and terminal facilities.
• Compliance with regulatory and company maintenance procedures and records.
• Continuous education on new and current technology and equipment.
• Procure and manage outside contractors when required.
• Implement company policies and installation standards for new facilities or upgrades.
• Train Operations personnel on new equipment or software.
• Maintain equipment records and documentation per policy.
