Job summary

Buckeye Partners is seeking a Technician II with experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment at pump stations, remote booster stations, and terminals.

The position requires an associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, plus PLC experience (B&R, Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and knowledge of SCADA and MS Office. Must reside within 45 minutes of the work location.

Qualifications

Two-year associate's degree in a technical field (electrical, electronic, or mechanical) or equivalent experience.
Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance.
Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and truck/rail load rack presets (Accuload, Multiload) preferred.
Experience in measurement of liquids or gas preferred.
Must reside within 45 minutes normal driving time of the work location.

Responsibilities

Maintenance projects including troubleshooting and maintenance support for pipeline and terminal facilities.
Compliance with regulatory and company policies and documentation in JDE and manuals.
Maintain knowledge of new technology and equipment.
Procure and manage outside contractors as required.
Implement company policies and construction specifications for new or upgraded facilities.
Train Operations personnel on new or modified equipment or software.
Maintain equipment records and documentation per company policy.
