Job summary

Buckeye Partners Lp is seeking a Project Manager II to lead pipeline, station, and terminal projects within our integrated energy infrastructure network in the United States. You will manage scope, cost, schedule, and resources, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning activities.

The role requires a engineering degree or PMI certification, up to 30% travel, and proven experience across multiple disciplines in oil & gas projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required or PM Certification or 10 years of petroleum-project experience.
• Experience across engineering, construction, and operations of pipeline, station, and terminal facilities.
• Up to 30% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and plan projects with scopes, estimates, schedules, and resources.
• Manage design, purchasing/contracting, construction, startup, and commissioning and report status and forecasts.
• Evaluate changes to scope, budget, and schedule and document adjustments.
• Lead meetings and ensure minutes are recorded and circulated.
• Coordinate downtime, startup, and commissioning with Operations and other departments.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and outside engineering firms.
• Ensure closeout with as-built docs, manuals, and completion certificates.
