Job summary

Buckeye Partners is hiring a Project Manager II to lead pipeline, station, and terminal projects across Allentown, PA, Houston, TX, or greater Chicago. You will guide projects through initiation, planning, execution, and completion, coordinating with Business Development and operations teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, plus extensive PM in the oil & gas sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience managing pipeline, station, and terminal projects in oil & gas.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% to execute projects.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and plan projects with clear scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Lead scoping, design, procurement, permitting, construction, startup, and commissioning.
• Manage project execution with multiple disciplines and external engineering providers.
• Prepare status reports and cost forecasts; obtain approvals for scope or budget changes.
• Facilitate meetings; document and distribute minutes.
• Coordinate downtime, startup, and commissioning with Operations and other departments.
