Job summary

Buckeye Partners is seeking a Project Manager II to lead pipeline and terminal projects within the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on coordinating scopes, schedules, budgets, and resources across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree or PMI certification and can travel up to 30%. You will drive project governance, reporting, and commissioning activities to ensure safe, on-time project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in project management.
• Experience managing pipeline, station, and terminal projects in oil&gas.
• PMI certification is desirable or commensurate experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and plan project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and resources.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning.
• Obtain approvals for scope changes and tracking of cost forecasts.
• Lead meetings and document minutes for project governance.
• Coordinate downtime, startup with Operations and Control Center.
• Manage external engineering firms and multi-discipline teams.
• Ensure as-built drawings, manuals, and completion certificates are delivered.
