ABB, a global technology leader, seeks a Strategic Segment Leader for Oil & Gas and Chemical in the United States. You will drive growth, qualify opportunities upstream of RFQs, and transfer them to sales for execution.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, hunting ability, and executive relationship management. You will contribute to ABB's Industries, Building & Channel Group in the US, shaping strategy with market insights and cross‑portfolio collaboration across Electrification, Motion,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field; 10+ years relevant experience.
• 5+ years of business development or strategic sales experience.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, Midstream, or Chemical industries.
• Understanding of industrial power distribution, electrification, automation, or related techs.
• Proven ability to create a pipeline from new opportunities and engage executive stakeholders.
• Experience with Salesforce and CRM systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute ABB's Oil & Gas and Chemical segment growth strategy across the United States.
• Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities before formal procurement stages.
• Build executive-level relationships with owner/operators, EPCs, consultants, OEMs, and integrators.
• Establish ABB thought leadership through conferences and industry engagement.
• Provide market intelligence to the sales organization and coordinate with district teams.
• Coordinate cross-business opportunities across Electrification, Motion, and Automation.
• Serve as the Voice of the Market to shape ABB strategy.
