Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily operations, lead on the shop floor, and help develop a fast-paced team. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty during peak times, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service for every customer.

We offer paid hands-on training, strong team collaboration, and clear paths for career growth within Take 5. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with competitive hourly pay and weekly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed and ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members and reinforce standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with daily inventory counts.
• Train new team members and reinforce service expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve shop performance and assist when Manager is unavailable.
