Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily shop operations, lead a fast-paced team, and deliver a top-notch customer experience. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty, maintain safety and service standards, and help the shop run efficiently.

We offer paid training, opportunities for advancement, and a clear path from technician roles to leadership. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with competitive hourly pay and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service, respond to customer needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and consistently while reinforcing company procedures, safety requirements, and service standards.
• Support shop performance by identifying opportunities for improvement and taking on additional leadership responsibilities when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Perform all Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
