Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, ensure safety and service standards, and provide hands-on coaching to teammates.

Automotive experience is valued but not required. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and delivering a high-quality customer experience, with paid hands-on training and strong growth paths.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort giving direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and respond to customer needs.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with daily inventory counts.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
