Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Tallahassee, FL seeks an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily operations, coach a fast-paced team, and ensure a safe, high-quality customer experience. You will step in as Manager on Duty when needed, driving efficiency and service standards on the shop floor.

This role emphasizes leadership, hands-on training, and reporting to improve shop performance while maintaining Break/Fix safety policies and customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Lead on Duty by coordinating workflow and ensuring safe, efficient service.
• Coach team members and provide real-time feedback to meet standards.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and support inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively to deliver fast, friendly customer service.
