Job summary

B&S Site Development invites you to join its Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Internship program in Columbus, Ohio. You will work with seasoned safety and operations professionals on real site development projects during a 10-week summer internship.

As an OHS Intern, you’ll rotate through safety program areas, attend daily safety meetings, and complete a capstone project with mentorship from our OHS team. This paid internship offers hands-on learning and leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Strong academic performance.
• Interest in construction safety and field leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel between project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend safety meetings and participate in daily safety activities.
• Complete capstone project addressing a safety challenge and present findings to leadership.
• Participate in safety observations, inspections, and leadership walks.
• Assist OHS personnel with safety documentation and follow‑up activities.
• Rotate through multiple safety program areas and gain site exposure.
