Job summary

V3 Companies, Ltd. is seeking a Transportation Group Leader to lead its Ohio transportation design practice in Columbus. The role focuses on strategy, client relationships, and growing the market while developing people and delivering impactful transportation solutions.

The candidate brings 12+ years of experience, a P.E. license, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial leadership style to strengthen V3’s presence across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a P.E. license.
• 12+ years delivering transportation and infrastructure projects for municipalities, counties, and ODOT.
• Proven ability to lead people, coach and mentor, and grow teams.
• Strong client relationships, business development, and cross‑office collaboration.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, or Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Ohio transportation design group with a team‑oriented culture.
• Shape growth strategy by identifying market opportunities and pursuing client wins.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
• Develop and mentor technical staff, expanding capabilities and career paths.
• Collaborate across offices and service lines to deliver high‑quality projects.
• Drive project delivery with clear priorities, planning, and accountability.
