American Structurepoint, Inc. in Ohio seeks an experienced Structural Market Leader to establish and grow our structural engineering presence across Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati.

You will lead local technical excellence, build client relationships, pursue new business, and mentor a growing team, collaborating with architects, owners, and partners to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• PE license with ability to obtain licensure in Ohio.
• 12+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience managing projects from proposal through construction administration.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and generate repeat business.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to establish and grow the local structural practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering services in the Ohio market as the primary local contact.
• Develop a strategic growth plan with leadership and business development staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, developers, owners, and contractors.
• Lead pursuits, including client meetings, scope, and proposals.
• Manage projects from proposal through construction administration.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate with cross-office teams.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop structural staff as the practice grows.
• Represent the firm in professional organizations and industry groups.
