Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain licensure in Ohio.
• Approximately 12+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
• Experience leading a structural practice and managing projects from proposal through construction administration.
• Proven ability to develop scopes, fees, budgets, and staffing plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering services within Ohio market and act as primary local contact.
• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the market.
• Build relationships with architects, contractors, developers, owners, and partners to generate repeat business.
• Lead project pursuits including client meetings, scope development, fee development, proposals, and interviews.
• Manage projects from proposal through construction administration including planning, budgeting, scheduling, QA, and closeout.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
