Job summary

Spicer Group is seeking a Regional Manager for Ohio to lead the drinking water and wastewater practice across the state, ensuring technical excellence and financial health. The role requires deep regional connections with municipalities, utilities, regulators, and funding programs to drive growth and cross‑sell services.

You will build strong client relationships, guide strategic planning, and oversee large multidisciplinary projects while mentoring a team of engineers and planners to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in drinking water and wastewater engineering, planning, or infrastructure delivery.
• Established relationships within Ohio with municipalities, utilities, regulators, and funding stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex municipal or utility projects from planning through delivery.
• Background working with public funding programs, regulatory agencies, and local decision-makers.
• Demonstrated competency in client management, project management, financial management, and collaboration.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial health and profitability of the drinking water/wastewater practice in Ohio.
• Lead regional strategic planning and market-share growth initiatives.
• Manage large multidisciplinary projects and ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, authorities, utilities, regulators, and funding partners.
• Coordinate with regional leadership on goals, strategy, and resource alignment.
• Mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and build high-performing teams.
