Job summary

Spicer Group is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Project Manager who is a licensed Professional Engineer to join our Drinking Water/Wastewater Service Line in Ohio.

This role manages small- to medium-sized municipal projects, including drinking water treatment and wastewater projects, with responsibilities for proposals, budgeting, scheduling, directing team members, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer licensure or progress toward licensure; PM experience valued.
• Understanding of project lifecycle in AEC.
• Familiarity with scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Ability to communicate clearly with teams and clients.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking across projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals on projects with budgeting, scheduling, directing staff and prioritizing multiple deadlines.
• Manage small- to medium-size municipal projects including proposals, scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination.
• Design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Quality control of work products under direction.
• Prepare and oversee reports and client communications.
• Coordinate with team members, clients, contractors, and outside consultants.
• Recommend changes when necessary and review site conditions.
• Attend project meetings, public hearings, and present as required.
• Maintain knowledge through professional publications and seminars.
