Job summary

MasTec Utility Services seeks an OHE Lineman A to support Journeyman Lineman and foremen while learning the trade. The role centers on constructing, maintaining, and inspecting power transmission and distribution lines, with emphasis on safe practices and teamwork on a field crew.

You will assist in wiring, installing devices, and coordinating line work on customer facilities, contributing to reliable energy delivery and customer satisfaction in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of field experience in electrical distribution or related work.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and inspect transmission and distribution of electrical lines.
• Provide technical skills for operation and maintenance of reliable electrical services.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and positioning materials and equipment on job sites.
• Operate bucket trucks and perform line switching or sectionalizing as directed.
• Support apprentice training and ensure timely documentation for the program.
