Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking an OHE Lineman A to assist Journeyman Lineman and Foreman while training in the trade. The role involves construction and maintenance of poles and power lines for electricity distribution, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The position supports the Line team and works with other department personnel. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and a valid Class A CDL; OSHA 10 is preferred. Benefits and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of lineman experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and inspect transmission and distribution of electrical or power lines.
• Provide technical skills needed for operation and maintenance of reliable electrical services, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Assist in connecting/disconnecting, installing and removing, moving, and transferring electrical devices on customer facilities.
