Job summary

You will lead offshore teams, participate in hiring, ensure timely quotes and delivery, manage documentation like Bills of Lading, and uphold safety and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of LTL or transportation experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of US exports and steamship line policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management of all phases of operations for offshore markets (Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii).
• Lead and mentor offshore team members and participate in hiring, training and terminations.
• Coordinate with agents for quotes, pickup, and delivery of freight.
• Prepare documentation including Bills of Lading for proper transportation of goods.
• Respond to inquiries regarding bill documents and trace shipments.
• Maintain relationships to assist in booking steamships.
• Regular attendance and ability to work under high stress.
