Job summary

Vestas is seeking an Offshore HSE Coordinator to serve as the onboard authority for health, safety and environmental compliance aboard the Service Operations Vessel and during offshore wind turbine service activities. You will work with SOV leadership and offshore personnel to promote a safety-focused culture and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.

The role requires solid knowledge of ISO 45001/14001, experience in offshore wind or maritime operations, and the ability to validate

Qualifications

HSE education or certification (OSHA, NEBOSH, GWO BST/ART) or equivalent.
Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Experience in offshore wind or maritime operations.
Ability to read and validate AWPs, RAMS, and lifting plans.
Effective communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Act as offshore authority for HSE compliance and audit readiness.
Co-lead daily toolbox talks onboard the SOV.
Review AWPs, RAMS, lift plans for accuracy and risk controls.
Lead and document HSE inspections and drills onboard the SOV.
Maintain HSE documentation and training matrices.
Coordinate with customer HSE representatives and vessel HSE organization.
Ensure all offshore personnel hold current HSE certifications (GWO BST/ART, WTSR, etc.).
