Job summary

Valaris is seeking a Rig Safety Advisor to provide Health, Safety and Environmental support for all personnel on board offshore installations. This role advises the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) and department heads in implementing the company’s HSE programs and management system.

You will monitor, coach and drive HSE processes, train crews, conduct safety drills, and prepare required HSE reports for regulatory bodies and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of HSE experience.
• NEBOSH or CSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE support for all personnel on board.
• Advise OIM and department heads on HSE programs.
• Coordinate training and drills per requirements.
• Lead behavior-based safety program data collection.
• Prepare HSE reports for company, customers and regulators.
