Job summary

Seadrill Limited seeks an experienced Offshore HSE professional to champion safety, audits, and continuous improvement on rigs. You will verify adherence to HSE requirements, coach crews, and support the Star/Start Safe programs while collaborating with onshore management.

The role emphasizes strong communication, incident investigation proficiency, and maintaining SME knowledge of applicable regulations to drive Safe, Efficient, and Reliable operations offshore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years offshore experience in HSE or 10 years onshore in HSE outside drilling.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of incident investigations.
• Proficient with MS Office and HSE governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for internal and external HSE audits onboard (ISM, Company, Regulatory, Client).
• Maintain SME knowledge of Client and Regulatory requirements affecting rig operations.
• Coach and drive PIMED, Start Safe, SMS, and STAR programs with offshore crews.
• Lead investigations and support continual improvement through lessons learned.
