Job summary

SLB is seeking an Offshore Field Deployment Lead to implement and support Digital Drilling Solutions at offshore rigs. You will guide customers through the deployment lifecycle, ensure hardware, software, and connectivity readiness, and coach field teams for successful adoption.

You will also perform drilling performance analyses, manage deployment risks, and deliver final reports with recommendations for improvement, all while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years drilling or drilling technology experience.
• Minimum 2 years supporting rig operations.
• Proven experience implementing digital solutions and customer-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of drilling software, well engineering fundamentals, and real-time operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Field Deployment Lead onsite for Digital Drilling Solutions at offshore rigs.
• Develop deployment plans, schedules, and hardware/software requirements.
• Coordinate field mobilization with clients and ensure readiness before deployment.
• Deliver projects with HSE compliance, perform validation and commissioning.
• Coach field engineers and train deployment teams; manage issues and risks.
• Analyze drilling performance and provide final reports and improvements for customers.
• Interface between customers, field operations, engineering, and service delivery.
