Job summary

Oxy is seeking an experienced Drilling Engineer to lead the deployment of digital tools across global operations from Houston, Texas. The role focuses on interoperability between development teams and field users, ensuring adoption and long-term value of Delta initiatives.

Responsibilities include training staff, configuring tools, and communicating progress to leadership, with extensive travel to support domestic and international deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Significant drilling, completions, or workover experience.
• Experience with digital tools and platforms in oil and gas.
• Project management driven planning and strategy experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and implement digital tools across domestic and international units.
• Configure and troubleshoot tools during deployment.
• Provide hands-on training and user guidance post-deployment.
• Develop user manuals, training materials, and best practices.
• Engage with internal customers to understand needs and drive adoption.
• Collaborate with regional champions to embed tools into workflows.
• Capture feedback and report progress and metrics to leadership.
