RR Donnelley in Monroe, WI is seeking a Press Operator 2 for the 1st shift (M-F, roughly 7:00am–3:00pm) with a starting rate of $25.00 per hour. The role involves setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining press equipment and performing all required make-ready tasks to ensure high-quality output.

Qualified candidates will have knowledge of offset printing procedures and the ability to read job specifications.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and determine suitable press usage.
• Skill to set precise controls and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Knowledge of packing pressure needed for printing.
• Ability to use a micrometer to mount and align printing plates.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates or installing cylinders and inspecting plates/cylinders.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Other duties as assigned.
