Job summary

RR Donnelley in Monroe, WI is seeking a Bindery Operator 1 for 2nd shift (M-F, approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm) starting at $20.15 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour premium shift differential.

Responsibilities include setting up, adjusting and operating a variety of bindery machines, inspecting equipment for safety, monitoring quality and productivity, and directing the crew through all production steps. Qualifications

• Knowledge of different paper weights, sizes, kinds, and colors to identify paper conditions.
• Basic math skills to understand dimensional requirements in job orders.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and instructions.
• Ability to adjust powered bindery equipment using hand tools.
• Familiarity with set up, adjustment, procedures and capabilities of bindery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery machines with multiple heads and attachments.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and maintain operating conditions.
• Direct crew through production and monitor quality and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
