The Child Care Licensing Program (CCP) of the California Department of Social Services (DSS) is seeking analytical thinkers who are highly motivated self-starters, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Under supervision of the Child Care Licensing Program Office, Office Services Supervisor II - The Office Technician (OT) (Typing) provides support staff activities for Child Care Program Managers including scheduling meetings and reserving conference rooms. Will act as the liaison between unit employees and personnel assisting employees with personnel issues relating to payroll, benefits and employment status. In addition, the OT supports the office by performing clerical duties such as: answering and screening telephone calls, filing, editing correspondences, processing mail, and maintaining various types of office equipment. The OT will also maintain various databases and run reports as need.
