Under the direction of the Litigation Coordinator and indirect supervision of the Chief Deputy Warden, the Office Technician (Typing) functions as the assistant to the Litigations Coordinator administering, monitoring, and maintaining departmental policies governing activities effecting both staff and the incarcerated population.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
