Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure; excellent verbal and written communication.

The Office Services Clerk will manage essential administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring seamless office functionality, supporting mailroom and reception duties, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and fostering a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This position supports the overall smooth operation of a busy legal office environment, emphasizing confidentiality, organization, and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail, packages, and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate handling
  • Maintain and order office supplies, equipment, and stationery to support daily operations
  • Greet and assist visitors and clients professionally, providing excellent customer service at the reception desk
  • Support photocopying, scanning, and document preparation tasks, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Manage conference room setups and assist with small event logistics as needed
  • Operate and maintain office equipment such as fax machines, printers, and copiers
  • Support administrative functions, including filing, data entry, and document organization in compliance with confidentiality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to improve office workflows and logistics
  • Assist with adhoc office projects and special assignments to ensure operational effectiveness
Core Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Office Administration, Business, or related field) preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant administrative or mailroom experience, ideally within legal, professional services, or corporate environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of general office operations and equipment (copiers, fax machines, scanners)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment and assist with occasional event setups
